Snowflake Configuration Overview

Immuta's Snowflake integration has two installation processes based on your Snowflake Edition. Snowflake governance features are available with Snowflake Enterprise or higher; organizations with Snowflake Standard should use the integration without governance features. • Snowflake integration using Snowflake governance features. Enabling the integration includes the following steps:

  1. Opt to use Snowflake table grants to allow Immuta to manage privileges on your Snowflake tables.
  2. Connect your Snowflake integration.
  3. If you did not enable the table grants feature, Snowflake admin grants SELECT privilege on relevant Snowflake tables.

• Snowflake integration without Snowflake governance features. Enabling the integration includes the following steps:

  1. Connect your Snowflake integration.
  2. Snowflake admin locks access to all raw tables.
