Snowflake Configuration Overview
Immuta's Snowflake integration has two installation processes based on your Snowflake Edition. Snowflake governance features are available with Snowflake Enterprise or higher; organizations with Snowflake Standard should use the integration without governance features. Click a link below to navigate to a tutorial for your Snowflake configuration:
-
Snowflake integration using Snowflake governance features. Enabling the integration includes the following steps:
- Opt to use Snowflake table grants to allow Immuta to manage privileges on your Snowflake tables.
- Connect your Snowflake integration.
- If you did not enable the table grants feature, Snowflake admin grants SELECT privilege on relevant Snowflake tables.
-
Snowflake integration without Snowflake governance features. Enabling the integration includes the following steps:
- Connect your Snowflake integration.
- Snowflake admin locks access to all raw tables.
